It is a file storage system that helps people collaborate with others and it can synchronize documents from different sources. It is an extended part of Google Docs and users amy store various types of files. The provision of 5 GB free cloud storage is appealing and can make the popularity of the application also increase as time passes. Essentially, it can serve as an online backup service that works with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Android systems. Google Drive descends from Google Doc which can be described a a fore-runner of sorts for the newly released Google Drive application.
